Class 1 Tramper

As a HGV Driver, you will:

• Delivering specialist parts and equipment on behalf of our client to keep their local depots fully stocked, ready for them to complete planned maintenance work.
• Working on a set delivery rota with known destinations and depots.
• Putting stock away at the delivery depots, either by hand or using a forklift.
• Loading/unloading of vehicle using a Counterbalance forklift truck (training provided), ensuring load security.
• Tramping may be required depending on operational needs, or available upon request if preferred.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
  
  Must hold a UK Class 1 CE license.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Forklift license preferred but training will be provided.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
  
  Competitive Salary: £34,515pa. PLUS up to £5,005pa TAX FREE night out allowance if decided to do Tramping.
• Shift Hours: Starting between 05:00hrs and 06:00hrs, Monday to Friday.
