Class 1 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Class 1 Driver who has a passion for customer service to join team in Harlow, CM19 5AW, carrying out a mixture of deliveries for our Home Delivery network, delivering to/collecting from distribution centres in the UK. There will also be occasions where the role will require you to perform shunting duties at the Harlow site.,

• Delivering empty/filled trailers to distribution centres as well as collecting
• Ensuring loads have been secured
• Drive in a safe, responsible and courteous manner at all times, and in accordance with company policy & procedures, legislation and traffic regulations.
• Carry out truck checks and ensure that defects are reported immediately and complete all paperwork in line with procedure
  
  A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience in trunking would be an advantage

  You will be working 48 hours per week, on a shift pattern of, 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Saturday) starting between 05:00 to 07:00, 10:00 to 13:00 or 17:00 to 20:00.
