Full Job Description
- Trunk from Saltash to our Cannock hub.
- Must keep to your allocated timeslot.
- Ensuring the trailer is loaded safely and secure.
- Compliance to all Tachograph and WTD regulations
- Accurate completion of paperwork when required.
- Complete vehicle checks and report any problems.
- Report any problems to your line manager throughout your shift.
- Driver debrief with Manager on duty
- Ensure vehicle is cleaned and refuelled for next day, Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks per year including Bank Holidays (pro rata for part-time/Ad Hoc positions) Holiday enhancement: one extra day per continuous year worked up to a maximum of 5 days.
- Full driving licence
- Class 1 Licence entitlement
- Full Drivers CPC
- Current Digital TACHO
- Curtainside Double Deck trailer experience.
- Valid DBS check must be provided.
- Good time keeping and reliability.
- Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative Desirable
- Previous experience in night trunking
- Good knowledge of the national road networks
