Job Description

Our client is a well-regarded, multi-office regional firm with over 100 years of history and a strong reputation for providing high-quality, practical legal advice to individuals and businesses. They are seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join their team at their Sussex offices.

About the Role

You will join a well-established and knowledgeable litigation team of five, supported by a strong and collaborative support network. The role offers the opportunity to manage a broad and varied civil litigation caseload, while also playing a strategic role in the ongoing development and growth of the department. The work will include:

• Contractual disputes


• Landlord and tenant matters


• Contentious probate


• Boundary disputes


• Debt recovery


• Insolvency and bankruptcy matters

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years PQE, possessing solid experience in civil litigation and a proven ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy. They should demonstrate:

• Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills


• Effective communication skills with a clear client-focused approach


• The ability to manage competing deadlines while working collaboratively as part of a team
