Full Job Description
The post holder will provide senior specialist expertise in SystmOne CHIS configuration, data quality, information assurance and operational processes across CHIs services. The post holder will develop, implement and audit agreed standards for record completeness, reporting and workflow efficiency; provide expert advice to service managers and analysts; and coordinate complex systems improvement work with IT, TPP and external partners.
The role will lead the operational delivery and assurance of agreed SystmOne CHIS unit consolidations, including requirements, validation, risk and quality controls, and will identify and sponsor practical automation opportunities. Routine production of reports, patient record updates and development of automations remain with designated data analysts, operational colleagues and technical specialists.
Main duties of the job
Implement and maintain agreed CHIS data quality and SystmOne optimisation standards, translating organisational policy and contractual expectations into operational controls and procedures.
Develop and maintain a planned programme of audit, exception review, quality improvement and reporting assurance, presenting findings and recommending remedial actions to the operational leadership team.
Coordinate complex SystmOne change, configuration and workflow requirements in conjunction with service managers, assuring testing, safe implementation and staff readiness; e.g. New immunisation scheduling parameters or new protocols.
Lead delivery planning and quality assurance for the agreed SystmOne unit consolidation programme, including reconciliation, acceptance checks, operational cutover and post-merge audit.
Analyse complex or conflicting information on record quality, clinical pathways or system use, determining appropriate solutions within approved guidance and escalating unresolved cross-service issues.
Specify data quality and operational reporting requirements and support Senior Data Analysts and Data Analysts to implement and improve them, without routinely producing reports or updating records.
Identify and evaluate automation opportunities, working with service colleagues and partner technical teams to develop requirements and test safe, practical solutions.
