Chiller Engineer

We are now looking for additional Chiller Engineer to join our growing Rental team, supporting the preparation, installation, commissioning and ongoing operation of temporary cooling and heating solutions for our customers. The main goal will be to deliver safe, reliable and customer-focused rental solutions, including temporary chiller plant, ancillary equipment and associated systems, ensuring equipment is installed, commissioned, maintained and recovered to the highest standard. What will I be doing as a Chiller Engineer

• Prepare, install, commission,maintainand decommission temporary rental equipment, including chillers, pumps, hoses, heatexchangersand associated ancillaries.
• Support the delivery of rental projects frominitialsite attendance through to equipment handover, ensuring the installation is safe,practicaland fit for customer requirements.
• Carry out site surveys,identifysuitable equipment requirements and work with the rental operations team to ensure the correct solution is delivered.
• Troubleshoot and support operational issues on rental equipment, both on site and remotely, to minimise customer downtime.
• Commission temporary systems and advise on wider site connections, flow, power,controlsand operational considerations beyond the equipment supply.
• Attend customer sites and meetings with minimal supervision, providing clear updates on rental works, safety requirements,progressand next steps.
• Readandinterprettechnical documents such as wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings,flowschematicsand site-specific method statements.
  
  Experience within a similarrental,HVAC,chilleror temporary plant environment, ideally involvinglarge industrial waterchillers.
• Qualification in Refrigeration and Air conditioning
• Full UK Driving licence (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds or equivalent in Safe Handling or Refrigerants
• F Gas qualified (cat 1).
• Technical competence isrequiredwith relevant experience ofCarrier and/orothermanufacturers' chiller,HVACor temporary rentalequipment.
• Experience working safely on customer sites, including temporary installations, plant rooms, externalcompoundsand live operational environments.

Pay Range
The annual base salary for this position is between £44,128 - 54,004. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate., We offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs.
