Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Children and Young People (CYP) Programme Officer to join our Community Safety team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver inspiring education and intervention programmes that support Children and Young People across Devon and Somerset. Working with the Education Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our programmes are engaging, inclusive, safe and aligned with national best practice.
About the role:
As a CYP Programme Officer, you will lead and manage teams of casual advocates and instructors to deliver high-quality programmes, including Fire Cadets, Phoenix and school engagement activities. You will help develop and continuously improve our offer to young people, ensuring positive outcomes and meaningful community impact.
We're seeking someone with:
Experience delivering or coordinating education, youth or community programmes.
Experience leading or supervising a small team.
Strong organisational, communication and relationship building skills.
A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and delivering high-quality services.
The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
