Are you looking for a new role for morning, afternoon and weekend shifts?Would you love a rewarding role, supporting our young client with complex health needs in his family home and out in the community; escorting to and from school, and doing activities? Join Active Care in the Home, and become part of a rewarding new care team supporting our new young client in Abingdon-on-Thames. This is more than just a job it's a chance to build a trusted connection with one child and make a genuine difference in his life. About the role: Our client is a wonderful and engaging 9 year old little boy who has complex health needs and lives at home with his parents and two younger sisters. Our client has cerebral palsy, visual impairment and speech challenges so he uses makaton and a communication device. He is a wheelchair user and has a PEG feed. This role will be to support him in his family home and out in the community, walking him to and from school and also taking him to do activities. The role will involve enhancing his mobility and helping with his various therapies, alongside providing access to play and social outings. Our client loves learning new things, enjoys music, creative activities and sports including football.
We're seeking warm, positive individuals who:

- Ideal candidates will hold a full UK drivers licence (and be over 25 for car insurance purposes) to drive the family vehicle.
Morning shifts (weekdays, 7am-10am) - Afternoon shifts (weekdays, 3pm-7pm/7.30pm)
- 2 x Saturdays a month (4 hr long shifts - either 7.30am-1.30pm or 8am-2pm)
- Part time or full time available depending how many shifts a week you are looking for In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change. What to look forward to:
- Earn up to £15 per hour (depending on experience)
