Children's Speech and Language Therapist

You will be responsible for your own caseloads of children and will provide assessment and intervention for children in addition to providing support and advice toparents and nursery and school staff.

This post will suit a newly qualified SLT, including those graduating this year, returning SLTs or SLTs from other specialities wishing to work in early years and clinics.

Our large and friendly team comprises newly qualified and experienced therapists. There are specialist SLTs for children with complex needs; emotional and behavioural difficulties; speech disorders; deafness; stammering; selective mutism; DLD; learning difficulties and regional Makaton trainers who will be at hand to support you. You will also have your own clinical supervisor who will be able to offer you weekly, fortnightly or monthly supervision depending on your experience. A senior SLT will complete your competencies (as needed), appraisals and Personal Development Plans with you.

There is the opportunity to work to develop your clinical skills across, language, social communication and stammering caseloads. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Speech and Language Therapist who is keen to work with children with SLCN in clinic and early years settings.
