Children's Social Worker

As a Children's Social Worker in the CIC Team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
• Providing ongoing support and intervention to children in care, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children.
  
  To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
• A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly within a Children in Care setting.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.
