Full Job Description
Westview is a care centre that provides short term placements for adults, assisting people to regain their independence and meet their aims and objectives. We offer support to those living with dementia, other cognitive issues or physical care and rehabilitation needs in our 48-bed setting. We also work closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Services Registered Practitioners to support those requiring rehabilitation or further care assessments to return to the community. We are looking for an individual to join our team and help us to improve the outcomes for our service users., This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
- Experience in health & social care sector
- Flexible and organised in your approach

- Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Confident in leading a team and providing supervision & support to staff
- Experience in managing and administering medication
- Knowledge of CQC and how the inspection process influences our practice

A basic salary of between £27,904 and £29,020 pro-rata, plus night-time enhancements of an additional 1/3, bank holiday enhancements and a generous employee benefits scheme are available to the right candidate. The annual starting salary for this post is £26,956 based on full time hours of 37 per week, with performance related progression up to £29,020. There are currently additional enhancements on top of the basic salary for nights, weekend and Bank Holidays.
