Children's Physiotherapist

The successful applicant will be expected to hold a varied caseload for young people aged 0-19 years, providing interventions in a variety of settings such as homes, schools (including special schools), and clinics. Post graduate experience/training within paediatrics is desirable, however having a broad range of clinical skills across various rotations would also be taken into consideration. Support, mentoring and further training will be provided to meet the individual needs of practitioners in areas where up skilling and development is required. Our integrated service provides opportunities for collaborative working, joint training and shared learning amongst each profession. We work closely with colleagues in education, with well-established relationships. HCT is strongly committed to continuing professional development and the delivery of evidence-based practice. We can offer:

• Regular group supervision, managerial supervision and a well-established appraisal system
• CPD opportunities, including in service masterclasses
• Opportunities to develop leadership skills and to supervise less experienced members of staff
• Opportunities to work alongside other therapists/assistants to deliver intervention to children/young people requiring specialist support
• A initial induction period where you will have the opportunity to observe and shadow your team.
