Full Job Description

At Dougie Mac, we are proud to offer a Nurse-led, family-centered service for children with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions. We expect each Nurse (RNC/RNLD) to share our passion for providing compassionate, personalised, and expert care that truly makes a difference to children and their families. As a Registered Childrens Nurse you will assess, implement and evaluate nursing care for children living with palliative and often complex health conditions. You will share our passion to provide excellent, personalised and compassionate care for children & their families. You will work flexibly over a 7-day period; this will include a combination of early, late, & night shifts., As well as managing a wide range of complex conditions, you will help create precious memories through play, arts and crafts and new experiences; creating an environment where children are truly able to live life to the full. You will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and have a positive, resilient attitude. This exciting opportunity involves providing leadership opportunities and specialist clinical expertise. Providing a high standard of palliative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, you will support families in making the most of the time they have together.
