Full Job Description

Do you have the passion and motivation to support children and their families in a community setting?, The post holder will be part of the Children's Integrated Therapy team, supporting the provision of specialist Physiotherapy for children and young people with a range of needs including complex disability. They will have responsibility for a designated caseload, be a trained and supported practitioner providing and adapting therapy programmes to meet the needs of the child in a range of settings including patient's own homes, clinics and schools.They will support and lead training sessions, be involved in preparation of resources, using IT and software as a clinical tool and other administrative tasks and will work with specialist equipment to support children and families.

The post holder will work directly with the therapy team and the equipment provider for Oxfordshire to ensure provision of high standard specialist equipment in a timely manner as well as some time providing specialist physiotherapy support.

They will have regular access to the supervision by a qualified Physiotherapist. They will work with the Local Therapy teams to ensure an efficient, high quality therapy service is delivered which is evidence-based and centred around the needs of the child/young person.

They will work jointly with other members of the multi-disciplinary team including parents, carers and teaching staff in schools. They will be part of the team who deliver the EHP recommended provision.
