Full Job Description

As a Children's Health Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children and families to achieve the best possible health, developmental, and emotional outcomes. We are excited to be involved in the Family Hub model working in partnership with other agencies including Early Years teams, Family Help and Social Care. We work within a variety of settings such as clinics, nurseries and family homes, no two days are the same. This role offers a genuine opportunity to make a positive impact on families. We provide a comprehensive induction/training package.

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Children's Health Worker to join our dedicated South Kesteven Rural Team within Lincolnshire's 0-19 Children's Health Service. South Kesteven Rural (Bourne) Full Time 37hrs, You must have a child care qualification: a diploma in Childcare and Education, NNEB, BTEC Diploma in Early Years Care and Education, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent relevant qualification

  • Experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • Knowledge of child development and health promotion principles.
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An individual who can be proactive and work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach.
  • Above all else you need to have a positive "can do" attitude and be passionate about making a difference for the children and families of Lincolnshire, In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
