Full Job Description

As an experienced leader with a passion for child welfare, you are committed to supporting Social Workers in managing section 47 enquiries, assessments, and interventions. You are adept at overseeing court processes and public law outlines, ensuring families receive the necessary services to address their children's needs. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are ready to step into leadership roles as required. In this role, you will manage a pod of Social Workers, guiding them through the complex terrain of section 47 enquiries and providing assessment and intervention services. Your responsibilities will include supervising Social Workers, covering duty pods on a rotating three-weekly basis, and maintaining a five-day office presence during duty weeks. Additionally, you will support other duty pods and cover management responsibilities when necessary, stepping in for the team manager when they are on leave.

Leadership and team management

Knowledge of section 47 enquiries
Experience with assessment and intervention services
Familiarity with court processes and public law outlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Adaptability and problem-solving abilities
