Children's Ambulatory Care Nurse

We are an award winning service caring for children in the Bradford district ensuring acute admissions to hospital are avoided where it is safe to do so. Following set pathways you will ensure that sick children remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, and in the care of their relatives/carers with clinical oversight and expertise from the ACE team., The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload and will providing specialised nursing care and advice. The service aims to reduce hospital admissions to the Paediatric wards at Bradford Royal Infirmary by providing an excellent level of support to families. This will benefit the Children of the Bradford district and ensure safe capacity is maintained on the Paediatric Wards. The candidate will participate in the expansion and development of the service in line with the new NHS 10 year plan.

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a versatile and skilled paediatric nurse to join our multi-disciplinary ACE team, which is our virtual ward/hospital at home service.
