We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh Speaking Childcare Leader to join our vibrant, high-quality Flying Start Childcare Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a committed childcare team, help shape outstanding early years provision, and support children to achieve the very best outcomes. As a Childcare Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of one of our Flying Start childcare settings, ensuring the delivery of safe, inclusive and high-quality Welsh Medium childcare that meets the needs of children and families. You will lead and inspire a team of childcare practitioners, creating an environment where children can thrive, parents feel supported, and staff are motivated to deliver excellent practice. Whilst the post will primarily be based within one Flying Start setting, there may be occasions where you are required to provide support to other Flying Start settings across the Caerphilly Borough. What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Leading and supporting a team to deliver outstanding childcare provision
• Ensuring compliance with all childcare legislation, regulations and Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) standards
• Promoting an inclusive, nurturing and respectful environment for all children and families
• Supporting children with additional and emerging needs to achieve their full potential
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers, encouraging engagement and participation
• Monitoring attendance and uptake to support effective service delivery
• Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to provide a seamless Flying Start service

• Children's Care Play Learning and Development (CCPLD L3/5) or similar relevant Level 3/5 qualification on the Credit and Qualification Framework for Wales
• Knowledge of educational development and health needs of children under 5
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience of working with children aged under 4 years, in a childcare provision
• The ability to fluently speak and understand Welsh language
