Introduction
Playhub Day Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator apprenticeship Level 3.

As a Nursery Apprentice at Playhub Day Nursery, you will become part of a welcoming, experienced, and supportive team that is dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for young children. You will work alongside qualified practitioners who will mentor and support you throughout your apprenticeship, helping you to build confidence and develop your professional skills.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of early years practice, develop a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and work towards a recognised childcare qualification. You will also develop valuable communication, teamwork, and leadership skills that will support your future career progression within the childcare sector.
Day-Day Responsibilities:
- Support the care, learning, and development of children in line with the EYFS
- Assist in planning and delivering fun, engaging activities for children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
- Support children's daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care where appropriate
- Observe and record children's progress and development
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety
- Work as part of a team to provide high-quality childcare and education
- Attend training, complete apprenticeship coursework, and work towards a recognised childcare qualification
Training Outcome
- There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship
