Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator (NW)

Introduction

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career.  

About the Employer

Dandelion Days Nursery is a professional nursery school, that offers friendly childcare services for children aged between 3 months to 5 years. Personal individual attention is given to each child at our nursery. Our staff have over 25 years of experience and will ensure to provide a smooth transition between home and school for your child. We provide a nurturing environment with dedicated baby room, engaging toddler room, and stimulating preschool room facilities to support every stage of your child’s development.

What You'll Do

• Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun. 
• Supporting children’s learning and development, including supporting planning and observations.
• Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children. 
• Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea. 
• Supporting children’s self-help needs.  
• Being creative and enthusiastic.  
• Following safeguarding rules.  
• Undertaking First Aid training as required.
• Undertaking training as appropriate to meet any changes in standards or appropriate legal requirements as required.  
• Ensuring that all Health and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to.

Training Outcome

After completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position upon successful completion. There is also the potential to go into other childcare-orientated roles, e.g., social work, teaching, managerial roles etc.

Working Arrangements
