Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 (E)

Introduction

Working in a childcare setting with children 0-5.The apprenticeship will last 14 months.This apprenticeship requires dedication,commitment & punctuality for you to be successful.Duties include creating a fun,engaging and safe environment for the children, teaching within the EYFS requirements.

About the Employer

Sahan Pre-School and Day Nursery is located in Newham and just a short walk from Green Street and Upton Park station. Our nursery provides a welcoming environment for children, where they are nurtured and cared for. Our nursery is spacious and well equipped, offering a stimulating environment promoting development in all of the key areas of learning. A variety of well planned activities and resources are on offer for children throughout the day, encouraging learning and fun! Nursery activities include music sessions, creative fun, gardening club, story time and a wealth of outdoor play! These activities provide both stimulation and opportunity for development of confidence and self esteem - children learn about the world around them, nature and living things, along with early maths concepts and an abundance of early language development as well as the development of early literacy skills.

What You'll Do

• Partaking in a range of indoor and outdoor activities
• Supporting the children with a range of self-care needs, such as feeding and personal hygiene 
• Communicating with other team members and parents
• Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 0-5
• Also, being able to liaise with external customers, parents, to provide a high level of service for the childcare setting

Training Outcome

• Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full-time position upon successful completion
