Full Job Description

As our next Chief Executive, you will provide inspirational, values-led leadership, ensuring the hospice continues to deliver outstanding care while navigating an increasingly complex healthcare and charitable landscape. Reporting to the Chair and Board of Trustees, you will lead the organisation's strategic direction, champion innovation and collaboration, and secure our long-term sustainability and impact. We are looking for a leader who can:

    You will be an accomplished senior leader with a proven track record of strategic leadership, organisational growth and financial stewardship. You may come from the hospice, healthcare, voluntary, public or private sector, but above all you will share our passion for delivering exceptional care and support to people facing life-limiting illness.

    Weston Hospicecare is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive to lead one of the South West's most respected charities, providing specialist palliative and end of life care to our local community.
  • For over 35 years, Weston Hospicecare has been at the heart of our community, supporting more than 2,000 patients and their families each year through our inpatient unit, day services for outpatients, wellbeing services, community-based care, and family support team.   • This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week, although there may be some scope forflexible/hybrid and part-time (min 30 hours) working. Occasional evenings, weekends, and additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the role.
