Chief Executive

Your key responsibilities as Chief Executive will be to lead, coach and support the Charity with a clear sense of strategic insight, commercial acumen and compassion. You will act as a high-profile ambassador for GWAAC with oversight of all fundraising activities, building and nurturing relationships with major donors, corporate partners, trusts, foundations and key stakeholders. You will provide operational, clinical and aviation safety oversight and work closely with the Chair and Board of Trustees to maintain high standards of charity governance. Whether your background is in the charity sector, healthcare, the public sector or a complex commercial environment, what matters most is your ability to lead with integrity, inspire with confidence and deliver meaningful impact. For this role we are keen to hear from candidates with:

• Proven experience of leading complex organisations or multi-disciplinary teams at CEO or senior Director level.
• Experience of managing multi-million-pound budgets, financial strategy and commercial or fundraising income generation.
• A track record of building effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, regulators, media and public bodies.
