Chemotherapy Nurse

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurse to work in the Chemotherapy unit.

The post holder will be responsible for administering and caring for patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatment along with delivering high standards of specialist cancer and palliative care within the Chemotherapy Unit at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital., To provide specialised nursing care. To demonstrate a high standard of practice in assessing, implementing and evaluating patient care.

The post holder will administer cytotoxic chemotherapy and related treatments following appropriate training

Supervise and support junior staff, students and health care assistants and work as part of a multi professional cancer care team
