Full Job Description

  • Assist the Senior Site Chemist and the Site Manager in the execution of the day-to-day operations of the site including the supervision of operatives as required
  • Sample and analyse all materials destined for on-site treatment performing compatibility testing and the generation of written instructions for site personnel.
  • Perform daily inspections of the transfer area, highlight (and where appropriate remedy) and report potential breaches of permit or safe working conditions.
  • Cooperate with site management to ensure that site personnel, contractors and visitors comply with the site rules.
  • Perform sampling and verification of incoming waste chemicals and raise non-conformance reports as required, We're also committed to ensuring that all applicants and colleagues receive fair treatment without discrimination on any grounds, aiming to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

    Minimum of HNC or Degree qualification in Chemistry or relevant science degree
  • An ability to overcome problems and find solutions independently.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Numerate, literate and computer literate
