Chef - Wallingford

Join our team for a unique and rewarding Chef role in RAF Benson, Wallingford, OX10 6AA, where you'll work alongside military personnel, preparing high-quality meals and supporting exciting functions. • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a fast-paced kitchen
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelines
• Work alongside the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service
• Cook and serve meals to military personnel, delivering high standards every day
• Oversee kitchen sanitation and ensure best practices are always followed
• Be part of high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary expertise
• Take part in bulk cooking, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
  
  Professional chef experience in a catering or hospitality setting
• Recognised culinary qualifications (level 3 food hygiene/food safety qualification)
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, team-focused environment
• A passion for cooking and delivering top-quality service
• To have pride in working and maintaining clear and organised environment, and work closely with the head chef to deliver quality food to military personnel
• Due to security requirements you must have been continuously resident in UK for last 3 years to apply for this position
  
  37.5 hours per week
• Any 5 out of 7 days- 0600-1400, 1130-1930 (weekdays) 1530-2330 (weekends)
• 12.71 per hour
