• Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Indian dishes
• Plan and prepare curries, biryanis, starters, and traditional meals
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to a high standard
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Monitor food stock and report shortages when necessary
• Follow food safety and health & safety regulations
• Work efficiently as part of the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Assist in menu development and preparation of special dishes
  
  Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Supervising experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
• Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills
• Experience in food production and menu development
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential
