Full Job Description
We're looking for a chef who can prepare and serve food at our events, working efficiently in a busy event environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene. This will be a regular monthly gig, with the possibility of working up to twice a month depending on our event schedule. You'll be responsible for preparing a simple but exciting menu such as:
- Hot dogs
- Burgers
- Loaded fries
- Chicken / wings, Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard
- Set up and organise the food preparation area
- Serve guests quickly and professionally
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness
- Follow food safety and allergen procedures
- Manage food stock and portion sizes
- Help with menu preparation and development
Food hygiene certificate is a must - Previous experience as a chef, street-food chef or event chef
- Experience working in busy environments
- Strong food hygiene knowledge
- Reliable and organized
- Able to work independently
- Creative and passionate about food
- Able to work weekends
£24 - £25 hourly
