Chef - Sands End Arts & Community Centre - London

The person we are looking for: This is an exciting opportunity for a chef with at least 2 years experience of working in a café. We are seeking 1-2 people to join the team on a casual contract, working Saturdays and Sundays, 8.30am-1pm. Main areas of responsibility, including but not limited to: Preparing a simple breakfast menu alongside toasties and soups Maintaining a clean and sanitized working environment Working with the cafe manager to perform stock checks and placing new orders Design and follow recipes and presentations for food and beverage items Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays Contributing to a positive work environment

Clear communication skills Previous experience of working in a cafe or alternative hospitality setting Food Hygiene Level 3 and Allergen Awareness certificate UK Right to Work Desirable: Experience of working within a community café Can easily commute to the centre
