Chef Manager - Durham

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Chef Manager to join our team at Amazon in Durham. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines a passion for food with strong leadership skills, a positive attitude and the drive to deliver consistently high standards in a busy workplace environment. What you'll be doing

• Leading and supporting the catering team to deliver great food and excellent customer service.
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen and catering operation.
• Promoting a positive, supportive team environment and leading by example.
• Following all food safety, allergen, health and safety and company procedures.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and assisting with other duties as required.
• Attending relevant training sessions and meetings, putting your learning into practice.

  Previous experience in a chef or catering leadership role.
• A genuine passion for food, quality and customer service.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
• The ability to motivate and support a team in a busy environment.
• A flexible approach to working, including 5 days over 7 depending on business needs.
• A commitment to training, personal development and consistently high standards.
