Full Job Description
We are looking for a first-class Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while managing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene., + Prepare, cook, and serve meals tailored to residents' dietary needs (including diabetic, vegetarian, and texture-modified diets)
+ Plan menus and manage stock ordering
+ Maintain food safety records and hygiene standards
+ Ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance
+ Manage budgets and kitchen operations
+ Supervise staff, complete supervisions, and manage rotas
+ Support events alongside the Activities Team
+ Experience in a care setting
+ Catering qualifications
+ Food safety/hygiene certification
Desirable:
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
+ Good organisational and time management abilities
+ Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
