Chef - INDI Boxpark - London

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at BOXPARK Shoreditch. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in food, a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Working alongside our kitchen team, you will help prepare and cook high-quality Indian-inspired street food and modern pub dishes while maintaining excellent food standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily food preparation and cooking. Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades and mise en place. Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control. Follow recipes and kitchen procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene. Ensure proper food storage, labelling and stock rotation. Work efficiently during busy service periods. Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.

Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards. Knowledge of HACCP record maintenance, including temperature checks, cleaning schedules, food safety logs and daily kitchen documentation.
