Are you passionate about fresh food and love working in a fast-paced, friendly kitchen?We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Chef to join our growing team at our fresh food Mexican restaurant. If you enjoy cooking from scratch, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!We pride ourselves on preparing fresh food every day using quality ingredients, so experience in fresh food preparation and cooking is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys working in an open kitchen, and is excited to learn more about Mexican cuisine.,
- Preparing fresh ingredients and completing daily kitchen prep
- Cooking fresh food to a consistently high standard
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
- Following all food safety and hygiene procedures
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting your team and helping create a positive working environment
Has at least 2 years' experience working in a professional kitchen - Has experience with fresh food preparation and cooking
- Is confident working in an open kitchen and interacting with customers
- Is organised, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
- Has a good understanding of food hygiene and safety
- Is punctual, motivated, and enjoys being part of a team
- Has a genuine passion for food and is excited to learn new skills and develop their knowledge of Mexican cuisine, As we're a small, close-knit team, everyone helps where needed. This role also includes basic bar duties, such as preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Previous bar experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Competitive pay from £13.50 per hour, depending on experience - Full training and ongoing support
