Full Job Description

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
  • Work across different sections of the kitchen, supporting the smooth running of service.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in your section.
  • Assist with stock control and ensure all food is stored, labelled, and rotated according to food safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of food during service.
  • Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen team to ensure an efficient, positive working environment.

    Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
  • A passion for high-quality food, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver exceptional results during busy service.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A desire to learn and progress within the industry
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends

    We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our new opening, The Horses! Opening in September 2026, The Horses will bring a fresh hospitality offering to Farringdon. Set within a building that has long been part of the local community, the venue will combine a pub atmosphere with exceptional dining, quality drinks, and attentive service across multiple floors. We are building a team that prides itself on delivering authentic hospitality, who are collaborative and create a genuinely warm, welcoming environment for every guest.   • Salary - 13 - 14 per hour + Service charge
