You will be reporting into the Chef Manager at the main school site. We play an important part in students learning and development, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion about ensuring that our future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a healthier lifestyle. • Have excellent craft skills and some bakery skills/experience
• Have experience of and be competent in managing allergens
• An absolute foodie with a chef background, this is a very-hands on role and you will be required to cook
• Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
• Have good communication skills at all levels
• Exceptional standards in all aspects of food service; attention to detail is vital
• Have comprehensive understanding of managing allergens
• Have the ability to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required
• Experience in Independent Schools or high end B&I.
• Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
• Proven track record of continually improving standards and achieving targets is essential
The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
