Full Job Description
We're looking for a skilled and reliable Chef de Partie to join our catering team within a busy healthcare environment. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional kitchen where quality, safety, and patient care are at the heart of everything you do. What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and delivering high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors
- Following standard recipes, production schedules, and dietary requirements
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Supporting stock control, deliveries, and kitchen organization
- Completing food safety checks and required documentation
- Assisting with menu planning, meal service, and kitchen operations
- Deputizing for senior chefs when required
- Ensuring meals are well-presented and portion-controlled
Previous experience in a similar chef role - Strong culinary and presentation skills
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 minimum)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent)
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a structured, fast-paced environment
