Chef de Partie

Aramark at Thorpe Park is recruiting for Chef de Partie! An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Chef de Partie at Thorpe Park. In this role, you will support the culinary team in producing and presenting high-quality food across the site, with a primary focus on catering for hotel guests in one of our main restaurants. Aramark provides world-class contract catering services to our extensive list of clients across the UK, including Defence & Judicial, Private Industry, Education, and Sports & Entertainment. We are very lucky to have some of the best culinary and catering talent that the UK has to offer working within our teams. Job responsibilities include: Preparing and cooking delicious food for our hotel guests Having full knowledge of all menu items served Monitoring portion and wastage control to maintain profit margins Supporting the development of Commis Chefs Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence Work collaboratively with fellow chefs to maintain
food levels, food quality, and brand standards Management of production and food levels to ensure minimum wastage Maintaining high food hygiene and health and safety standards Working with fellow chefs to ensure all opening and closing shift checklists are completed

Experience working within a restaurant, pub kitchen, theme park, or leisure setting is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both peers and management Be able to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner Demonstrate a proactive, can-do approach while supporting colleagues and contributing to team success A valid Food Safety Level 2 qualification or above is essential Due to the nature of the business, flexibility is required. This will include some weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
