Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Nuffield Parkside Hospital in London. - Maintain stock control, rotation procedures, and ensure the security of provisions and equipment
- Complete and record all temperature checks of foods and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
- Prepare and serve meals according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and food safety legislation, including health and safety regulations
- Assist in the training and supervision of staff, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness
- Deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef or Head Chef and support the smooth running of the kitchen
- Carry out general duties such as cleaning, stocktaking, assisting with menu planning, and covering other catering areas when required
- Always communicate in a friendly and approachable manner, demonstrating an organised and resourceful approach to work
Previous experience in similar role - Excellent craft and presentation skills
- Good communication skills and customer focus
- Good financial awareness
- City and Guilds 706/ 1 and 2 or equivalent
- Level 2 Hygiene Certificate
- Level 3 Hygiene Certificate
- IOSH managing safely
- Diet cook's certificate
