Chef De Partie

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Nuffield Parkside Hospital in London. • Maintain stock control, rotation procedures, and ensure the security of provisions and equipment
• Complete and record all temperature checks of foods and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Prepare and serve meals according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
• Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and food safety legislation, including health and safety regulations
• Assist in the training and supervision of staff, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness
• Deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef or Head Chef and support the smooth running of the kitchen
• Carry out general duties such as cleaning, stocktaking, assisting with menu planning, and covering other catering areas when required
• Always communicate in a friendly and approachable manner, demonstrating an organised and resourceful approach to work
  
  Previous experience in similar role
• Excellent craft and presentation skills
• Good communication skills and customer focus
• Good financial awareness
• City and Guilds 706/ 1 and 2 or equivalent
• Level 2 Hygiene Certificate
• Level 3 Hygiene Certificate
• IOSH managing safely
• Diet cook's certificate
