We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef to join our caring and support team at our service Hunters Moor in Birmingham. Hunters Moor supports patients requiring neuro rehabilitation,including those with complex physical rehabilitation needs. What you'll be working: Part time - 30 hours per week FTE Salary: £29,291.33 per annum (pro rata) based on 37.5 hours What you'll be doing:

• Preparing and cooking nutritious meals
• Creating varied and balanced menus
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
• Ordering and managing kitchen supplies
• Reducing food waste
• Supporting and supervising kitchen colleagues
• Completing food and temperature records
  
  Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification (or equivalent)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Previous Chef experience
• Experience leading a team
• Knowledge of dietary and allergen requirements
• Strong understanding of food safety standards
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good communication skills
• Passion for producing high-quality meals
