Full Job Description

Location: Cadet Training Centre, Frimley, GU16 7HD Pay: £14.76 per hour Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 per week (5 days over 7, on average 2 weekends per month) Shifts: Hours range between 06:00 and 21:00.

What you'll do:

- Cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring minimal wastage. Providing fine dining (silver service level) for functions/hospitality events.

- Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

- Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals

- Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.

- Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.

NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent Food hygiene certificate - Level 2.

- Previous experience in a Food Production role within catering or retail.

- Proficient level of spoken English.

- Excellent team player and communicator.

- A confident chef.

- Security checks and DBS required for this role.

- Flexibility and the ability to innovate.
