Full Job Description
This is an excellent entry level position into a global yacht management company based in London. You will join as a member of the charter management department who act as central agents for a prestigious fleet of large motor & sailing yachts.
The department's objective is to provide a comprehensive, efficient, and informed service to yacht owners, charter brokers and to the captains of the managed yachts, whilst maximising on charter revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
Provide administrative assistance to your allocated Charter Manager/s and to the department.
Assist with the management of department documents via SharePoint.
CRM data entry and maintenance relating to yacht and contact records and with an emphasis on the timely logging of charter opportunities/enquiries for the yachts.
Assist with the creation and editing of marketing materials for the charter central agency yachts, to include yacht presentations and industry updates using PPT/PDF.
Update details on Yachtfolio - the industry intranet system providing brokers with yacht details, brochures, crew profiles, yacht schedules/availability.
Prepare Charter Agreements for owner's use of their yachts.
Book travel arrangements, flights, hotels, car hire etc.
Collate and manage your Charter Manager(s)' company expenses.Experience Required
The applicant should have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, with a focus on Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
Previous experience of CRM (Customer Relationship Management system)
Adobe Acrobat to produce marketing materials and protect documents.
DocuSign experience helpful but not essential
Excellent typing skills
A basic knowledge of other languages such as French, Italian, or Spanish, would be an asset.
Nautical experience and/or knowledge of marine/yachting terminology helpful but not essential.You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered. There is a good salary, bonus & benefits package on offer also excellent career progression opportunities into a Charter Broker position.
