Full Job Description

Join our Fundraising Team and play a vital role in supporting the incredible work of our charity. As an integral member of the team, you will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to both internal and external fundraisers, helping to ensure a high-quality experience for our supporters and donors. A key aspect of the role is the accurate processing, recording and receipting of donations, ensuring every contribution is acknowledged and managed efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our fundraising database, uploading financial information from a variety of sources and producing income reports to support fundraising activities and events. Working closely with colleagues across the charity, you will help monitor and report on fundraising income, support the administration of events, and respond to enquiries from supporters and fundraisers via telephone, online and in person. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a customer-focused approach who enjoys working in a busy and rewarding environment where their contribution makes a real difference.,

  • Inputting donations and donor information onto the Fundraising Database received from various sources such as in person, over the phone, direct to the bank and online, and generating acknowledgments.
  • Downloading financial reports from various online fundraising platforms, such as JustGiving, and uploading them into the Fundraising database.
  • The maintenance of the Participants Fundraising Database and ensuring fundraisers are allocated a member of fundraising staff,
  • Raising requisitions in Oracle Finance Ledger, fulfilling online merchandise orders, stock control.
  • Counting, management, storage, and banking of cash and cheques.
