Full Job Description

This role has been created specifically tosupport ourresponse to SEND reform, a landmark national programme that seeks to better meets the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, enabling them to thrive in their local communities.

As a ChangeSupportOfficer, you willsupportsuccessful delivery of the SEND reform programme, including by:

Ensuring the smooth progression and delivery of a breadth of tasks through identifying goals, priorities, breaking down complex tasks into achievable actions and communicating this effectively.

Working through problems which arise throughout a project lifecycle by gathering the right information, identifying a solution, and coordinating the delivery of this with the right stakeholders.

Working co-operatively, as part of a team liaising with both internal and external colleagues to provide efficient and effective specialistsupport.

You willbe motivatedby making a tangible difference to the lives of children and young peopleand as a transformation and change management professional in a service design and improvement environment.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and a clear communicator. Through this role, there will be opportunities to develop your project management skills andsupportyour career progression.

Experience of working in local government and/or the wider public sector service economy would be desirable, but not essential, as other experience can enable us to look at our challenges from another perspective.
