Join us as Chair of Governors and Lead the Future of Education at Bilborough College Are you passionate about education and committed to helping young people achieve their potential? Bilborough College, a vibrant and successful sixth form college, is seeking an outstanding individual to take on the voluntary role of Chair of Governors. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated Governing Body in shaping the strategic direction of the college, ensuring high standards of education, financial stability, and effective governance. You will play a key role in supporting the Principal and leadership team, acting as a critical friend and ambassador for the college in the wider community. What We're Looking For:
- Proven leadership skills, ideally with experience chairing boards or committees
- A commitment to education and student success
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- An ability to think strategically and work collaboratively
- Integrity, objectivity, and sound judgement Experience in education, finance, law, or governance is welcome, but not essential. We value diverse perspectives and welcome applications from all backgrounds. What We Offer:
