Chair

The Chair will lead the Board of Directors and Council of Governors, providing strategic leadership and ensuring the Trust continues to deliver its ambitious vision of Better, Faster, Fairer Healthcare for All. Working closely with the Chief Executive, governors, staff, patients and partners, the successful candidate will champion high-quality patient care, innovation, research, strong governance and collaborative system leadership.

The successful candidate must satisfy the NHS Fit and Proper Persons standard., We are looking for an individual with substantial board-level leadership experience, strong strategic and partnership-building skills, a commitment to equality, inclusion and good governance, and the ability to inspire confidence across a wide range of stakeholders.
