Full Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and self-motivated 3D Technician to join our dynamic Creative Industries team. The successful candidate will support the Art and Design department by supporting technical 3D skills at an appropriate level across all Level 2 - Level 5 Art courses within the 3D workshop and ceramics.
What will the job entail?
Provide support of teaching and learning within the department by the management of resources
Ensure that the working environment is safe for staff and students to useand take responsibility for COSHH and risk assessing oftools and activities
Be responsible for the acquisition, organisation, and use of resources to support teaching and learning
Help the department run as smoothly as possible on a day-to-day basis
Use ordering systems to ensure availability of resources
Undertake construction work to install shows and exhibitions.
Drive a minibus for departmental visits
