Full Job Description

Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Centre Administrators key responsibilities are accurate and timely completion of all key administration on centre. They will support all leadership roles with archiving and play a key role in ensuring all compliance, legislative and accreditation administration is to a high standard. Your main duties will include:

  • Be first point of contact in the office for visitors or clients.
  • Overseeing all archiving, ensuring it is completed accurately and on time.
  • Take primary responsibility for updating the Centre Master list with student information including test scores, accommodation details and dietary requirements.
  • Create, maintain and distribute 'Group Lists'.
  • Regularly update financial records, annotating the Equals site with card transaction receipts.
  • Be responsible for organizing the centre safe ensuring that Group Leaders and individual students can store any valuables while keeping a detailed log.
  • Liaise with the Centre Manager and host site to solve any I.T. issues, ensuring students and staff have Wi-Fi access and that laptops, printers and copiers are in working order.
  • Take responsibility for visitor management including
  • Ensure the office remains a tidy and professional environment with stock securely stored, and necessary items such as paper, pens, tea and coffee available.
  • Support other managers with administrative tasks at key times such as arrivals & departures, preparation for excursions, or administrating entrance and exit tests.

    Strong IT skills and experience using MS office suite
  • Ability to lean new systems quickly and confidently
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • High level of professional conduct.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK and 18 or over.
  • Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous summer school experience
  • Previous administrative experience in a camp environment
