Full Job Description

This is a critical role within the Central Freedom of Information Team, supporting the department in meeting its statutory obligations under the Freedom of Information Act and related legislation., The post holder will manage a portfolio of Freedom of Information casework, ensuring responses are accurate, timely and legally compliant. Key duties include:

  • coordinating complex Freedom of Information (FOI) requests,
  • providing advice to business areas,
  • managing risks and escalations,
  • contributing to performance reporting, and
  • supporting continuous improvement across the FOI operation.

    You must have or be able to get security clearance at SC level.
  • You must have demonstrable experience of effective stakeholder engagement beyond your own team and be comfortable engaging with senior leaders.
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Including,
