We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately sorting and distributing orders within the transport department, ensuring goods are allocated to the correct delivery routes and areas.,

• Safely transfer loads to the despatch bay.
• Accurately sort and distribute customer orders.
• Correctly distribute and store trays and bins.
• Follow all checking-off procedures.
• Maintain standards in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Identify and report damages in accordance with company procedures.
• Work productively to meet operational targets.
• Adhere to site security procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the work area.
• Provide holiday cover for other Porters on Saturday mornings when required.
  
  High level of visual accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic written communication skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Customer-focused approach.
Desirable
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Manual Handling Requirements Please note that manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying, and bending, are an essential part of this role.
