Full Job Description
Our staff canteen, Neddy's, provides all employees of The Ned and Ned's Club with nutritious meals and a space to rest during shift breaks. The catering assistant plays an important role in the smooth operation and immaculate upkeep of the space., Reporting to the Canteen Manager and as a key part of the food and beverage team you will:
- Keep our salad bar and hot counter fully stocked at all times
- Work at pace as part of our busy operation, supporting the smooth and uninterrupted service to our staff
- Have full knowledge of canteen's menu and allergens, ensuring that meal names are displayed appropriately
- Maintain and uphold food safety procedures and create records in a timely manner
- Work alongside kitchen porters to maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining room and other canteen areas
No experience is necessary for this role, so a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is all you need - You will often be visible in and around service areas whilst on shift, so a high standard of personal presentation and a welcoming vibe is essential for all roles at The Ned
